 Our vision for DollhouseForums.com!
There are only a select few "Dollhouse" websites online at the moment, but as time progresses and the premiere date approaches, there are sure to be more and more DH sites popping up. We would like DollhouseForums.com to be the definitive community for the show.
We have been a large part of other communities (Buffy, Angel, Firefly, The OC, Alias, etc) and have found that there is always one distinct problem; the fanbase is too segregated and there are too many websites looking to create their own communities. Our idea is to have one huge fan community that is welcoming and encourages new members, fresh ideas, up-to-date news, and interesting ways to keep our favorite show alive! We have the experience, we have the space and bandwidth, and we are undeniably dedicated to this show.
Please invite your friends and spread the word about the show and DollhouseForums.com!

 Re: Our vision for DollhouseForums.com!
I don't think you're going to succeed in being the one and only DH community on the net. People are going to create their own boards if they want something smaller/more personal, or more specialized (geared toward a specific character or 'ship or whatever), or if they're just really eager to run their own boards. But as for this one being huge and central and important, I'm totally behind it.

 Re: Our vision for DollhouseForums.com!
I think it's a great idea to have one main site- especially if it links together all the smaller sites that are bound to spring up. You need a base for a community x

 Re: Our vision for DollhouseForums.com!
Yes, it will be a little tricky to have only one main community for the show -- especially with all of the shippers and characters, but hopefully as the show begins we'll add more categories for the characters, shippers, and whatever else. It will be difficult, so we'll see how it goes. *fingers crossed!*

 Re: Our vision for DollhouseForums.com!
Even though that will be a hard aim to achieve, i must say this is the most appealing of all the DH forums i've seen so far. Nice layout and structure. I've already spread the word!

 Re: Our vision for DollhouseForums.com!
Other than the Facebook page, this is the only Dollhouse forum I've been on. I like the design so far, and I've liked what I've seen of the posters. It is impossible to be the one and only hub of fandom, but it isn't unrealistic to be the main hub. There will always be smaller sites that specialize, but I could easily see this becoming the premiere home of DH fans.

 Re: Our vision for DollhouseForums.com!
hmmm i think it's a great forum site and everything but you generally tend to find that fans hang around the sites with more features; galleries, fan art, videos, competitions, ratings, opinion poles ect so i can see it as being a busy forum site but realistically i don't see it as being the main comunity, sorry

 Re: Our vision for DollhouseForums.com!
Im sure fan art, videos and competitions may factor in once the show actually starts. Right now I guess we are creating a foundation? Anyways this place has my full and total support. I wont even look at the other ones.

You can use the cloaktext tag Code: [cloaktext]insert spoilers here[/cloaktext] The text between the tags will be covered in black, like this insert spoilers hereTo see the spoiler, just move the mouse pointer to the beginning of the text, click and hold down the mouse button and move the mouse over the blackened text. Voilà!

 Re: Our vision for DollhouseForums.com!

It looks like there's quite the community starting to form already. Here's wishing all the best to this site and the show itself!

So, doesn't that kinda defeat the purpose of " cloaking" it?

 Re: Our vision for DollhouseForums.com!
having tried to keep up with the breadth of other great programs and the what-seems-like limitless boards and forums that spring up, i hope this one can stay abreast of the wave and keep people interested and actively engaged. it would be nice not to have to hop around a LOT.
